Troubleshooting Sync Issues
If your data isn't syncing between the app and web dashboard, follow these steps.
Check Your Connection
Step 1: Verify Internet
- Look for the WiFi or cellular signal indicator
- Try opening a website to confirm connectivity
- Move to an area with better signal if needed
Step 2: Check App Status
Look for sync indicators in the app:
- Green checkmark - Synced and up to date
- Spinning arrow - Currently syncing
- Orange warning - Pending sync (offline)
- Red X - Sync failed
Common Solutions
Pull to Refresh
- Go to any screen (Route, Customers, etc.)
- Pull down with your finger
- Release to trigger a refresh
- Wait for the spinner to complete
Force Close and Reopen
- Open your app switcher
- Swipe PoolOps away to close it
- Wait 5 seconds
- Reopen PoolOps
Log Out and Back In
- Go to Settings > Account
- Tap Log Out
- Wait for the login screen
- Log back in with your credentials
- Wait for data to sync
Make sure you have internet before logging out, or offline data may be lost.
Specific Issues
Services Not Appearing on Dashboard
If services completed on the app don't show on the web:
- Check that the app shows them as synced
- Refresh the web dashboard
- Wait a few minutes and check again
- Contact support if still missing
Customer Changes Not Syncing
If customer edits aren't syncing:
- Make sure changes were saved (not just viewed)
- Pull to refresh on the Customers tab
- Check the web dashboard after a few minutes
Photos Not Uploading
Photos may take longer to sync due to size:
- Connect to WiFi for faster uploads
- Keep the app open while photos upload
- Check the service log to see photo status
Prevention Tips
- Sync before going offline - Open the app on WiFi to cache data
- Sync at end of day - Connect to WiFi when you get home
- Keep app updated - Updates often fix sync issues
- Don't force close unnecessarily - Let the app sync in background
