Managing Your Subscription

PoolOps offers flexible subscription plans to match your business needs. Here's how to manage your subscription.

Current Plans

Free Plan

  • Price: $0/month
  • Customers: Up to 5
  • Features: Basic route management, customer tracking

Solo Plan

  • Price: $29.99/month
  • Customers: Unlimited
  • Features:
  • Route optimization
  • LSI calculator with dosage recommendations
  • SMS service reports
  • Service history tracking
  • Offline mode

Team Plan

  • Price: $59.99/month + $9.99/seat
  • Customers: Unlimited
  • Features:
  • Everything in Solo
  • Multiple technician accounts
  • GPS verification
  • Issue flagging and notifications
  • Custom service checklists
  • Team performance reports

Upgrading Your Plan

From the Mobile App

  1. Tap Settings tab
  2. Tap Subscription
  3. Select the plan you want
  4. Confirm the purchase through the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)

From the Web Dashboard

  1. Click your profile icon
  2. Select Billing
  3. Click Upgrade Plan
  4. Choose your new plan
  5. Complete payment through Stripe

Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrading to a Lower Tier

  1. Go to Billing settings
  2. Select the lower plan
  3. Your current plan continues until the billing period ends
  4. The new plan activates at renewal

Things to Know

  • Customer limits: If downgrading to Free (5 customers max), you'll need to archive excess customers
  • Team to Solo: Technician accounts will be deactivated
  • No data loss: All service history is preserved

Managing Team Seats

For Team plan subscribers:

Adding Seats

  1. Go to Team in the dashboard
  2. Click Invite Technician
  3. Enter their email
  4. A seat is added to your subscription automatically

Removing Seats

  1. Go to Team
  2. Click on the technician
  3. Click Remove from Team
  4. Seat is removed at next billing cycle

Seat Billing

  • Seats are billed monthly at $9.99/seat
  • New seats are prorated for the current period
  • Removed seats continue until period ends

Viewing Billing History

On Web Dashboard

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Billing History
  3. View all past invoices
  4. Download receipts as PDF

Receipt Details

Each receipt shows:

  • Plan name and period
  • Additional seats (if Team)
  • Payment method used
  • Total charged

Updating Payment Method

Mobile App

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Play Store:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > PoolOps
  • Android: Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

Web Dashboard

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Update Payment Method
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Save changes

Canceling Your Subscription

To Cancel

  1. Go to Billing settings
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

What Happens

  • You keep access until the current period ends
  • After that, you revert to the Free plan
  • All data is preserved (but limited to 5 customers)
  • You can resubscribe anytime

Grace Period

If your payment fails:

  • 3-day grace period to update payment
  • During grace period, full access continues
  • After grace period, reverts to Free plan

Subscription FAQs

Can I switch between monthly and annual?

Currently, all plans are billed monthly. Annual billing with discounts coming soon.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you haven't used the service extensively. Contact support@poolops.app.

Is there a discount for paying annually?

Annual plans with savings are coming soon. Stay tuned!

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is preserved indefinitely. You can access it on the Free plan or by resubscribing.
